The Drilling Services group is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team.
As a Systems Engineer you are working in a multi-disciplinary project team within our product development department and will work closely together with the respective project managers.
You are responsible for the requirements- and systems analysis, elaboration of use cases and test cases, as well as development of architecture and specifications for software- and mechatronic systems. For that you will interact with a broad range of project stakeholders, from end users to development engineers.
This will be a unique opportunity to join a cross discipline team working with state of the art technologies in the energy industry. Our projects are executed in collaboration with academia, government, and corporate partners.
This hands-on position involves full exposure to design, development, testing, and deployment of new components and complete systems for harsh environment operations. Elicitation and elaboration of system and component requirements
Elaboration of high level system architecture (functional and logical)
Analysis of requirements and their impact on system architecture and design
Specification and management of requirements
Elaboration of use cases and test cases
Actively drive communication among engineering disciplines and end users
Support of system integration and system test activities
Promotion of systems engineering and establishment of best practices
Experience in systems engineering and requirements engineering
Excellent communication and moderation skills
Interdisciplinary skills. Understanding of software development, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering
Self-contained, self-motivated and structured approach to work
Good written and oral English skills
Openness to learn and work in new areas
Job experience as systems engineer or systems architect in a mechatronic environment, preferably in an automotive or aerospace environment
Experience with systems modelling languages, e.g. SysML, UML
Experience with systems engineering and requirements management tools, e.g. Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw, Doors, Polarion
Practical experience in software- or function development
Experience with model based design, e.g. with Matlab/Simulink
Experience with test methods, procedures and tools
Experience in UI/UX, system interaction
Project management experience
Experience in international working environment and strong interest in working with other cultures
