Role Summary: GE Finance IT team is looking for a motivated, experienced professional to maintain critical billing processes and develop our next generation enterprise billing platform.
Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for primary operations functional support and project design, testing of new feature and product growth for GE OneBiller, RIMA and Contract Manager applications
Strategic initiative adoption and integration project support including simplified Interco, ES Chart of Accounts, Business migrations, DRM integration, Datalake reporting and MDM Customer
New product, business growth assessments, configuration design, testing and deployment
Ongoing maintenance configuration design & administration of Billing metadata including P&L routes, Taxation, transfer pricing, IBS settlement, revenue accounting, & billing rules/logic
Production support of functional issues and configuration in partnership with our Business Ops Engineers
Billing close cycle validation and data cleansing assistance for billable transaction identification and troubleshooting
Recommend improvement ideas for productivity & simplification of key processes
Liaise with GO Finance Ops, Tax, FP&A, IBS, General ledger and business billing partners
Follow compliant change control process including spec documentation, test scripts, issue RCAs, approvals etc.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years in application support role or administering large scale applications
Minimum 2 years in a role responsible for translating business requirements into documented design specs and actionable tasks
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills
Demonstrated Project management experience and familiarity with SDLC methods
Excellent communication including fluent verbal and written English and ability to organize/articulate ideas
Experience with GE intercompany billing process or GE OneBiller application
Experience with Global Mobility Employee process or RIMA application
Experience with Global Ops MSA/CMSA contract process or Contract Manager application
Experience supporting finance applications, or finance background
Strong business/user partner being flexible to help work through critical issues during key close cycle
Experience working in a matrix environment, and with diverse global teams
Self-starter, with strong analytical and conceptual skills and attention to detail
Ability to be adaptable to change and learn quickly in dynamic environment
Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment, building strong relationships and credibility
Ability to clearly communicate operational issues, incorporating root cause analysis and actions required
Ability to think "outside the box" when developing solutions and creating value
Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems
Strong analytical and strong problem solving skills
