Role Summary: As a front-end UI developer, you will be responsible for contributing towards building and shaping the digital solutions for GE Healthcare. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designers and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on all sides from influencing the user experience to building to how it scales.
Turn style guides into front-end frameworks and coding standards Decipher Information Architecture and Visual designs and turn them into front end code Develop front end code that integrates with back end interfaces Execute in a test-driven development environment, writing unit tests, and building code to pass unit tests Develop and test for cross-browser and cross-platform applications Effort estimation for implementation of User interface for given requirements Analyze requirements & identify gaps, where possible, propose alternate approaches based on current & future digital trends Ensure zero compromise on performance and other non-functional parameters as we deliver digital solutions for our customers Work using Agile development methodology and engage with UI/UX team(s) to deliver exceptional user experience for our customers Participate in requirements grooming sessions with business and technical teams for a rounded-perspective on the solution and creating the impact to our customers Participate in daily stand up and weekly reviews with Project Manager and the functional stakeholders Learn and innovate newer and simpler ways of delivering solutions to problems/requirements
Desired Characteristics: Exposure and experience with Content Management Systems such as: Sitecore, Drupal is a big plus
Experience in Angular JS / Node JS / React JS is an advantage Past experience in digital projects is an advantage #DTR
