Role Summary: The Employee Human Resources Manager (EHRM) is the site responsible HR Leader for the Dung Quat Facility. The site EHRM will be expected to support the teaming culture at Dung Quat and cultivate an environment of trust and accountability while delivering first class HR support. The EHRM must understand key business metrics and how they relate to the day-to-day operations of the plant and priorities of its employees.
Essential Responsibilities: Provide overall human resources site support for exempt and non-exempt teams, including staffing, training, leadership / employee development and coaching, career planning, workforce development, employee relations and overall human resources compliance.
The EHRM will also:
- Provide leadership, coaching and support for individual employee needs and HR processes - Act as resource for the site by guiding employees to the right tools to solve day to day employment issues (e.g., benefits, payroll) - Demonstrate understanding of business cycle and industry trends and how they impact the company, business priorities and organizational dynamics - Align HR actions to support teaming environment and apply knowledge to offer solutions to achieve business objectives - Support hiring and recruiting efforts at the site to maintain a strong pipeline of technical talent - Class instruction on topics including teaming, giving / receiving feedback, accountability, and communication to ensure site culture is instilled in new employees - Understand financial metrics / operating rhythm and how HR activities are influenced to best support leadership and the teams in outlining HR strategy related to financials (e.g. SII, contractor management, base vs variable costs) - Influence business leaders to implement actions that improve ER environment - Demonstrate a range of coaching techniques in a variety of coaching relationships and select appropriate coaching approach / techniques for a variety of situations often in real time - Consult with stakeholders to understand their perspective and influence outcomes - Proactively learn new change management approaches and integrate different methods while being accountable for driving improved outcomes / processes
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college Experience in Employee Human Resource Management Fluent English
