As an Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist, you will be responsible for business to business
Receivable activities related to a GE portfolio – a vital role in growing and sustaining growth for GE
Industrial businesses Daily activities entail monitoring and managing existing accounts and
building relationships with our customers.

Essential Responsibilities:
The AR Specialist will manage collections and account resolution with customers of delinquent
accounts, provide customer service, develop payment arrangements, and assist in resolving
customer complaints and problem accounts.

  1. Review aging reports and initiate calls to customers with past-due balances to arrange for
    payment.
  2. Track payment status on customer invoices and answer questions regarding problems with
    their accounts.
  3. Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.
  4. Record information about financial status of clients and status of collection efforts.
  5. Confer with customers via telephone to determine payment status and reasons for potential
    overdue payments.
  6. Resolve customer complaints and research account discrepancies; analyze receivables data
    for customers.
  7. Forecast cash collections, evaluating and escalating issues to appropriate internal and external
    contacts.
  8. Perform routine accounting reconciliations, reduce account aging, and establish clear and
    concise communications; participate in presentations of account receivables information.
  9. Communicate with the team about the activity of daily operations to meet deadlines efficiently
  10. Daily interaction with outside customers, including follow-up with customers when expected
    payment has not been received.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

      Basic Qualifications:
    1. Bachelor's Degree and/or Minimum 2 years related experience in financial services and/or
      customer service
    2. Ability to build and maintain effective customer/client relationships
    3. Ability to manage through multiple systems and competing priorities.
    4. Ability to collaborate & negotiate with multiple stakeholders in order to resolve issues
    5. Experience with Microsoft Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. .


      Eligibility Qualifications:
