Role Summary: Responsible for project operations and programs support including standardization, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement and tools for the project management .The Project Manager is responsible for managing the scope of work allocated, completing within the time, budget and cash targets, whilst optimize the margin for the company. The Project Manager will also be responsible for any activities delegated to him by the Project Director.
Essential Responsibilities: Supervisory roles that provide direct or indirect leadership for overall projects operation, including leadership for operations in which activities are centralized shared resources to execute customer projects and/or project monitoring activities. Has a contribution in the development of a business plan for the business unit as a whole. Is involved in discussions with other disciplines about future developments and consequences for the business unit. Major contribution to the strategic plan of higher unit. Presents to top leadership in the business solutions (SEB, sr. VP) on technical discipline and business solutions. Works with cross business teams. Important business unit clients. Engages in complex long-term processes with important clients. • Providing support to the Project Director for the execution of the Project. Deputising for the Project Director when instructed. • Application of the Project Execution Strategy, for the scope of work allocated, to deliver the project within the contract specification, programme, budget and cash targets. • Establishment and management of the project team for the scope of work allocated. • Co-ordination of all activities for the allocated scope including engineering, procurement & logistics, erection and commissioning. • Resolution of claims and concessions to/from customers, consortium partners, contractors and sub-suppliers for the allocated scope of work. • Assisting the Project Director in the development of the project risk and opportunity identification. Management of risks and opportunities, associated to the allocated scope of work, by the implementation of appropriate action plans with the aim of improving the project margin. • Development and evolution of the overall project schedule (plan), for the allocated scope of work, updating of the schedule to reflect progress and using the schedule to optimise work and resolve problems. • Application of project specific procedures, work instructions Project Quality Plans, Environmental and Health and Safety plans. Application of the Thermal Systems Management System to the Project. • Developing and management of the relationship with the customer, ensuring communication is clear and addressing issues effectively. • Assistance to the Project director in the reporting of project progress (including financial) with clear identification of key issues which impact, or may influence, the project success. Undertaking any other tasks as instructed/requested by the Project Director.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Operations Leadership.

Professional Experience Experience gained on the job during professional life Mandatory (MUST) • 5 years’ experience in the field of Plant Construction • Site experience
