Role Summary: Team Lead Mechanical is responsible of managing all aspects of Mechanical Maintenance of complete CCPP plant consistent with protecting the Owners investment and achieving Site KPIs (Reliability/Availability/Quality) in a safe, reliable, economical and environmentally friendly manner.
Essential Responsibilities: •To provide leadership to the maintenance team (Mechanical) in the day to day maintenance activities. •To develop, supervises and co-ordinate plant maintenance activities. •To plan and inspect completed work on plant equipment. •To maintain records, prepare reports and compose correspondence relative to work. •To acquire considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant instrument & control and electrical system throughout the plant and apply the same to trouble shoot problems and leads the maintenance team in resolving the issue. •To promote development and succession management in Mechanical Section. •To train the subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance. •To communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing. •To execute work order through CMMS and co-ordinate with Mechanical Technicians for job completion and technical matters. •To assist Maintenance Manager in planning and scheduling outage works with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan. •To assess plant needs for spare parts & supplies and generate material requisitions. •To co-ordinate with Stores and Procurement for inventory management. •To control plant inventory via CMMS system Maximo. •To acquire full knowledge of EHS policies & procedures and ensures compliance. •To evaluate, plan and actively participate in plant housekeeping. •To assist and co-ordinate with EHS Manager/Supervisor with all EHS activities including •implementation of policies/procedures, inspections and audits. •Compliance in all areas of Health, Safety and Environmental programs and procedures as applicable to the maintenance activities. •Development of training schedules for Assistant Engineers and technicians •Controls all maintenance documents as outlined on the site Master List of Controlled Documents. •To assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs to maintenance technicians as per the direction of Maintenance Manager. •Any other job assigned to him by management.
Qualifications/Requirements: B.Sc Engineering Mechanical from any recognized University with minimum five years’ experience in similar capacity or three years associate engineering diploma with at least 15 years relevant experience in CCPP/Petrochemical industries in similar capacity.
Additional Eligibility Criteria: •Knowledge of Environmental and Safety regulatory requirements for Pakistan •Experience of costing, maintaining and planning plant outages
Desired Characteristics: •Experience on 6FA/9FA/7FA/7EA/9EA technology. •Working Knowledge of control systems & general Operation Processes. •A minimum of 2 year’s previous experience, in a supervisory capacity, preferably at a Combined Cycle Power Plant. •Understanding of CMMS system roll out particularly Maximo. •Ability to read and interpret, in English, documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures, manuals etc. •Ability to write technical reports and correspondence. •Good Communication Skills. •Computer skill is essential.
