Role Summary: The Software Engineer will take role in software design, implementation & testing of the GE Healthcare NM products in all the stages of SDLC.
Essential Responsibilities: • Work closely with systems teams in requirements gathering and software design • Interacting with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms • Designing and building strong testing infrastructure to minimize dependency on hardware availability • Leveraging DFR for software, Agile and Lean software development methodologies to drive reliability upstream into the product development life cycle • Work closely with the program team to ensure application development meets product specification requirements. • Analyze user needs and come up with state-of-the-art design and code. • Participate actively in design and code reviews. • Drive performance and reliability enhancements
Qualifications/Requirements: • B.Sc. in computer sciences/engineering from a known institution. • Strong software architecture and design skills. • experience developing software for complex systems or computerized products Software development cycle or automated testing experience • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. • 3+ years of Software Development hands-on experience. • 3+ years of hands-on experience in C++/C#/Java. • Good understanding and experience of SDLC. • Ability to creatively solve complex problems • Strong oral and written communication skills to work effectively with team members
