In this role the student will be responsible for supporting design and test activities for NPIs, productivity projects and RCAs. The student will have the opportunity to learn basic motor theory, engineering design procedures, technical problem solving, data collection and analysis, and be in daily interaction with the design and manufacturing teams.
Provide support for design activities during NPI process, productivity projects and RCA’s
Track shop floor prototypes for design validation
Support the development of manufacturing tooling for new products
Document current design and manufacturing practices
Strong communication skills (English proficiency is mandatory)
Desire to work with computers and software
Strong interpersonal skills
Good general troubleshooting skills
2 years of university studies completed
Student of (BS) Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Pro-Engineer/CREO proficiency is desired
Preferable previous experience in metal mechanic industry
