Role Summary: As the Site Quality Supervisor you will ensure correct alignment with quality requirements. Ensure that manufactured or procured products meet specified standards before they progress to next phase of production or customer delivery.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Site Quality Supervisor, you will:
Manage and coordinate quality activities at site
Ensure high quality level of communication with project team (including off-site) and Customer
Maintain an intensive Client relationship and a high level of Client satisfaction
Ensure application of construction / commissioning and site quality processes
Reinforce processes and/or implement / propose improvements to optimize site quality execution
Lead weekly quality meeting with Customer and/or Site
Coordinate quality actions to work on project priorities related to site
Lead and follow actions about risks and opportunities related to site quality
Lead quality team to resolve quality issues on site
Ensure respect of quality contractual requirements during site execution
Apply, deploy project quality strategy
Control quality activities on site to ensure compliance with instruction and objectives
Manage, ensure on-time delivery and control of quality deliverables
Participate to the “feedback of experience” process
Supervise and inspect works under his responsibility (including works done by subcontractors) to ensure to respect the technical, standard regulations, quality, EHS and contractual requirements
Communicate with the Engineering for support or site technical inquiries
Produce / complete requested records (site record sheet, inspection report, etc) following to control done
Ensure that the site record sheets are well-completed (all measurements requested, temperature, instruments name + number, names, date, unit, reference, etc)
Analyze and valid the conformity of the measurements with support of the technical Supervisor
Manage, complete and follow inspection and test plans (ITP)
Manage Customer’s witness / hold points planning for site phase and coordinate witness / hold points notification to the Customer
Perform preliminary works inspection, make corrected anomalies to minimize punch list items for the final walk down with the Customer
Manage and communicate the punch list
Ensure EHS compliance, evaluate tasks to assess hazards posing risks to workers, confirms controls are in place to prevent injuries and unplanned events
Stop work if risks are not sufficiently mitigated
Ensure to work with approved documentation and latest revision and control if subcontractors use the latest drawings revision or specifications.
Ensure that receiving and shipping is managed effectively by the person responsible
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction on similar construction
Knowledge in hydroelectricity (powerhouse)
Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge
Able to work under pressure
Fluent in English (oral and writing)
Problem solving capability
