The deal will be subject to customary closing conditions such as regulatory review and appropriate consultation and we expect this to be complete by mid-2017. Water & Process Technologies will operate business as usual through this process and will continue to meet its commitments to its valued customers and employees. This includes hiring strong talent to help the business grow and be successful. GE is targeting to complete the sale of the business by mid-2017.

Role Summary: The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the Chemical and Monitoring Solutions (CMS) analytics across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. The role will support the NAM (North American) Finance Managers and operational leaders to drive profitable growth by ensuring accurate and complete reporting of the financial results to enable the business to monitor and take actions.
Essential Responsibilities: The Financial Analyst will demonstrate accountability in developing, maintaining and communicating key business metrics, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in budgeting and measuring of performance, variance analysis leveraging advanced BI tools.
As the Financial Analyst, you will:
Partner with the Finance Managers to help measure, estimate and report pipelines, sales, direct and indirect cost, Base Cost and past dues
Support monthly and quarterly closing and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy of financials & timely presentation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to management including variances to plans
Develop digital analytics that enable the finance and operating teams to have clear visibility to their costs and to identify productivity opportunities
Monitor the sales force performance, analyze variances to targets, cycle times and convertibility
Analyze the balance sheet and income statement monthly for all accounts owned to identify trends and understand drivers behind fluctuations
Drive profitability through granular analytics around regional return on Investment (ROI), margin by customer, and base cost savings opportunities
Respond to adhoc requests for customized data and reports in an understandable way
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or college (or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial position or a Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) graduate
GE FMP / CAS graduate (GE Employees Only) or Big 4 Accounting firm experience
Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills
Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
Desire to combine finance with strong operational focus
Positive and proactive can do attitude and proven ability to deal with senior management
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
