Role Summary:
Current powered by GE is hiring for the role of Eastern Regional Channel Manager, with the goal to fill this position immediately.

Essential Responsibilities:

This role will require travel throughout the Eastern territory, estimating 1-2 weeks a month

The main responsibilities for this position will be:

  • To manage the development, pipeline and revenue of the Value Added Resellers in the above territory
  • Investigate and build new contractor customers
  • Travel throughout territory average of 2 weeks a month
  • Train Contractor sales team to sell Daintree Networks
  • Train Distribution sales team to sell Daintree Networks
  • Act as Daintree expert presenting in a technical sales support role to end users
  • Work closely with Daintree design group within Channel
  • Build pipeline, providing accurate and up to date data into the CRM working to close directly with Contractor and Distribution sales teams and management
  • Present Daintree messaging to channel of utilities, contractors, and energy efficiency forums
  • Work directly with other Channel Managers in territory to glean support from Ecosystem
  • Ensure specific and pre-defined sales targets and MBO's are met
  • Hold Quarterly Review Meetings with the Channel Sales Managers
  • PLEASE NOTE: Other MA is the preferred location. However, This position may be eligible for the following - Flex Work Location
  • PLEASE NOTE: Candidate preferred residence to be located in the Eastern U.S., within convenient airport access of key markets throughout the U.S.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 10 years of sales or business development experience

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:


  • PLEASE NOTE: Other MA is the preferred location. However, This position may be eligible for the following - Flex Work Location
  • PLEASE NOTE: Candidate preferred residence to be located in the Eastern U.S., within convenient airport access of key markets throughout the U.S.
  • 50% travel required

    Desired Characteristics:

  • MBA from an accredited university or college is Preferred
  • Demonstrated performance selling complex technical solutions (including systems and enterprise software) directly to large end-user organizations through consultative sales techniques
  • Successful private sector enterprise end user sales of lighting retrofit, controls, building automation and/or similar ROI related propositions a plus
  • Success in selling enterprise SaaS also a plus
  • Experience scaling revenue for new, category-defining products
  • An entrepreneurial, self-confident flair coupled with professional, team-oriented execution
