Role Summary: This role is responsible for leading and driving the strategic pricing plans for a business group, ensuring that proper Marketing and Sales targets are set balancing all business objectives. Additionally, the manager will have to monitor the performance of the portfolio and recommend, develop and implement actions to adapt to the current environment. This is a very visible and influential member of the Marketing team contributing to the overall strategy and success of the business.
Essential Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include: 1. Setting price of NPI’s utilizing CECOR framework along with Key pricing tools such as PV Maps, EVE Analysis and the Business Case. Understand and model the impact of new products on the business portfolio accounting for Price, Volume and Share shifts 2. Hiring, directly supervising, compensating and developing effectively a team of professional marketers 3. Coordinating with Marketing to ensure regular customer feedback is incorporated into pricing policies through surveys, focus groups or other means 4. Developing (compliant) competitive analysis that provides an understanding of how GE’s price and offering compares to others. Understand commercial trends incorporating win-loss data, 3rd party information sources and field interaction. Recommend either strategic or tactical responses to those trends 5. Working closely with finance teams to forecast quarterly price performance. Set quarterly targets balancing price, volume and share 6. Collaborating with Modality and Sales teams to analyze, create and monitor promotions and to develop field tools to assist in articulating our products value in the market place 7. Conducting diagnostics to determine key pricing levers and estimating pricing opportunity. 8. Building consensus with the key stakeholders and driving change 9. Driving usage of target price setting, incentives and ad hoc tactical issues 10. Partnering with upstream and downstream marketing teams on ad hoc pricing projects

Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field 2. 8+ years of experience in Pricing, Marketing, Finance or a related field 3. Demonstrated skill to clearly assess financial impact of business actions, recommend and implement strategy 4. Experience managing diverse, cross-functional teams 5. Experience in a leading role with direct reports 6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing in English and Japanese. 7. Successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function 8. Leadership and influence skills for all levels of the business 9. Strong track record of working collaboratively to tackle cross-functional issues 10. Strong, demonstrated background utilizing Pricing Tools 11. Effective at building relationships across the organization 12. Global project experience
Desired Characteristics: Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master’s Degree in Business/Finance and Corporate Audit Staff 2. 10+ years experience in pricing, marketing, finance or a related field 3. Greenbelt Certified; experience in Lean and Value Stream Mapping. Skilled in driving change in key business processes 4. Significant risk or downstream/operational marketing experience 5. Excellent Communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing 6. Proven record of accomplishment of establishing and managing project plans, adjusting to changing circumstances. Prioritizes and effectively controls key milestones. 7. In-depth knowledge of product offerings and commercial processes 8. Healthcare industry experience
