Role Summary: Responsible for Market and Commercial Analytics programs ensuring GEHC develops products that meet customer’s needs and are developed with a deep understanding of the market place, market size and positioning, including systematic, objective collection and analysis of data about a target market/customer, competition, and/or environment.
Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for enabling high quality, objective decisions by identifying and advising on the key marketing challenges for the business through the development and application of insightful and objective analysis. The role will have aspects of deep data dives; stakeholder connects and analytical story building. The role will work as a direct support to APAC CMO/Growth Officer • Analytics program owner for APAC regions, Across Market and commercial analytics • Enhance advanced analytics capabilities • Leadership for ANZ, JAPAN and Korea analytics resources and programs • Market size tracking, assessment of market trends • Involvement in analytics programs like forecasting, targeting and propensity models • Vendor management and assessment • Accountable for high quality, commercial information. This information is interpreted and appropriate recommendations made to allow effective decision-making. • Ensuring understanding, description and valuation of product profiles and market trends • Being a key contributor and influencer within the marketing teams • Being a key contributor in the Strategic marketing plans and process • Well versed with Statistical tools and techniques feeding into advanced predictive analytics
Qualifications/Requirements: 1. Masters Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Statistics/Economics or equivalent 2. 8+ years’ experience in market and commercial analytics Analytics 3. Knowledge of advanced analytics tools 4. Excellent English oral and written communications skills 5. Strong analytical mindset and thinking
Desired Characteristics: 1. Background in healthcare, pharma or diagnostics imaging industry 2. Ability to interpret large amounts of information, e.g. from clinical studies, scientific papers, financial reports and in-depth market research studies 3. Excellent forecasting capabilities and ability to exploit a range of commercial evaluation techniques 4. Objective approach on commercial issues 5. Ability to influence and make recommendations at all levels of the company 6. High energy, works proactively and demonstrates flexibility in approach to changing work priorities. 7. Team oriented – ability work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
