Role Summary: The Reports Programmer Analyst functions as part of the Information Architecture team within Information Technologies. The primary function of the position is to develop tools and automated processes that facilitate the distribution and dissemination of information from the corporate databases. This position requires the ability to work within a structured SDLC framework acting as either a member of a large team or as the sole developer/analyst for an initiative.
Essential Responsibilities: • Develop custom code to facilitate the extraction, transfer, transformation, normalization, or dissemination of information • Conform to all aspects of the Clarient SDLC • Conform to Clarient Coding Conventions • Conform to the Clarient SOA Architectural Guidelines • Conform to all Change Control and Product Release policies.
Qualifications/Requirements: Quality Specific Goals: 1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position 2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines 3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required 4. Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables 5. Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to successfully fulfill the specified position. Strong understanding of relational databases and online analytical processing (OLAP) 3. Strong analytical, decision making, and problem solving skills 4. Strong communication and client relationship skills 5. Ability to work as part of a team or as the sole development resource on a project 6. Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced team environment 7. Expertise with TSQL, SSIS 8. Expertise in Microsoft Excel 9. Experience with the .NET frameworks (v1.1 – v4.0) 10. B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent required 11. Minimum of five years’ experience with Microsoft TSQL (SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008, 2008R2) Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience with a Microsoft .NET language; VB.net or C# preferred 2. Experience working in a regulated environment – ISO, CAP, SOX, HIPAA a plus. 3. Clinical or Anatomical Pathology Lab experience is a plus
