Role Summary: This position will be responsible for execution of daily warehouse activities of including inventory control, shipping and receiving. This includes all material movement, respective documentation and maintaining inventory records within the business system.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Warehouse Specialist, you will:
Load and unload truck
Transact movement of material in Oracle
Issue of material out of inventory
Deliver material into inventory
Pull material from inventory and deliver to shop floor
Prepare items for shipping to end user/ or vendors
Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, EHS factors and physical capabilities of facilities
Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading and shipping orders to route materials
Accurately receive material into Oracle system from outside suppliers for shop/ or inventory
Maintain good housekeeping / warehousing practices, and follow EHS policy to ensure injury free workplace
Maintain inventory accuracy through execution of cycle counts and investigations of discrepancies
High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
Minimum 3 years of warehouse and inventory control experience in Oil & Gas
Lift 25 lbs and stand for long periods of time
Operate stand up & sit down forklift
Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/Warehouse systems (ie Oracle, WMS)
Attention to detail and organized individual is required
Minimum of 3 years of Inventory / Shipping and receiving experience
