Role Summary: GE Healthcare is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who will be working in Eysins (Nyon) in Switzerland in manufacturing of medical equipment and disposable kits aiming to process biological cells in the field of blood transplantation and cellular therapies. You will provide your expertise for defining, creating, supporting and monitoring robust manufacturing process that deliver quality products to the customer at the correct costs and schedule
Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing advanced manufacturing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production
Work with manufacturing leadership to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design.
Monitor and improve productivity through the use of Lean Six Sigma or related tools, while ensuring all customer commitments are timely and cost-conscious and met with quality
University degree or equivalent in related engineering fields (mechanics, micro-mechanics), or education as technician
Significant years of successful experience in mechanical engineering, technical manufacturing and project management in the industry (Life Sciences industry experience is a plus)
Experience in developing and manufacturing disposable plastics is a plus
Familiar to work under a quality management system (ISO9001, ISO13485)
